A wintertime rant

I think it is dangerous when people push snow from their driveways and then push the snow directly across the street, leaving behind ridges of snow perpendicular to the road. This practice creates a hazard for oncoming traffic. It seems like everyone and their brother in western Howard County who uses a tractor to clear their driveway does this. What is so difficult about doing a little clean up to make travel safer for others?
