All the small things...

Quote of the week month, courtesy of Delegate Warren Miller:

I can't criticize the current president. He hasn't increased taxes.

At least there's that, I guess...

I like Warren, he is approcable, and can be engaging in conversation. The last time i saw him was at the Lisbon Fire Dept. breakfeast, and he greeted me with a vary warm smile.

I have been told that I should run against him if I want to win a politicial position, but I just haven't got the heart to beat him in a political campaign.

And besides, if he wasn't in public office, would we have a reason to pass on his wonderful quotes.

Jim, whoever told you that is right. Bates had a comfortable margin of victory in the last election, but Warren made it by the skin of his teeth and proved that he is a very beatable candidate. Anyone with good name recognition could walk all over him. I hope you consider running.

Yes, recognizable to all 40 people who read these blogs.

That's almost like me saying I can't criticize Hillary Clinton - at least she's not an pedophilic ax murderer. (or perhaps she is and I'm not aware of it)

Thank you Freemarket, but the person for that job is Melissa Covolesky. Very intelligent, very aware of the issues, and most importantly she wants to do what is right for the people in western Howard Co.

p.s. her husband is a x-Green Beret, with a degree from Harvard Business school, and a heck of a nice guy.

Is this the same Jim "blow hard" Adams that has lost every time He has run for anything? including Howard County Dogcatcher? If I were Jim I would lay off of the grandoise ideas of being elected to public office.
