Drink a little beer in the tavern…

…sing a little bit of the workin’ man’s blues. This news is a few days old, but the folks who clean Oriole Park at Camden Yards were preparing to go on a hunger strike to call attention to the fact that they want a living wage. I think living wages are a bunch of crap, but good for the workers if they wish to strike. Their prerogative. Here is the interesting part: Baltimore has a living wage law but State workers are exempt.

The workers, who make $7 an hour, are seeking the city's living wage rate of $9.62 an hour, even though they are exempt under Maryland's living wage law because the stadium is state-owned.

Goose? Gander? Bueller? Bueller?
